Ryan McAnulty

President

Ryan has over 30 years of restaurant experience, starting at the age of 15.  Ryan has worked in full service, quick service and fast food over his career and enjoys the pace of fast food.  Ryan joined Cave in 2016 and previously worked for Burger King corporation for seven years.  What Ryan appreciates most about working for Cave and working in this industry is developing people and giving them the opportunity to grow in their careers.

Michael Johnson

Executive Vice President

Michael has been with Cave since 2014 and involved with the Burger King Brand for over 28 years.  In Michael’s career he has held many positions from Assistant Restaurant Manager to Executive Vice President. His brand leadership, project management, company-wide organizational abilities and training capabilities will continue to help Cave Enterprises evolve and grow. He loves working for Cave because of the family culture, deep respect for one and another and growth opportunities. Because at Cave Enterprises, we are Together for One Another.

John Kayser

Executive Vice President of Development and Real Estate

Mr. Kayser brings a wealth of experience in site selection, investment planning and real estate development.  In his current role as VP of Development and Real Estate for Cave Enterprises, John manages the real estate assets of the company’s 184 locations.  His responsibilities include all acquisition and remodel activity, new restaurant development, as well as facilities, buildings and grounds and equipment maintenance and services.  He has created a strategic plan for Cave’s long term asset management, renovation and refranchising initiatives, and development activity.  Prior to his work at Cave, John served 10 years with Heartland Food Corp. as Director of Construction and Development overseeing 400+ units, eight years at National Restaurant Enterprises as Manager of Construction and Facilities for 360+ units and 5+ years as Owner- Operator of a general contracting company servicing the restaurant industry.

Jacob Cox

Vice President of Operations

Jacob started as a team member in the QSR industry over 20 years ago and has been with Cave for 5 years. Jacob’s passion is driving results through people development and system execution. What Jacob appreciates most about Cave is the high standards we strive for and the growth opportunities we are able to provide.

Maria Carlin

Director of Operations for Chicago and surrounding Illinois suburbs

Maria joined Cave Enterprises in 2004 and has 25 years of experience in Burger King, where she was first hired as a Team Member.  Cave is a growing company with many opportunities and Maria advanced in positions as the company grew.  Maria loves being in the restaurant business and meeting new people every day. Maria enjoys developing our crew members into our leaders and finds it very exciting see what people are capable of when we educate and empower them.

Shari Furlano

Director of Operations for the surrounding areas of Lacrosse and Eau Claire, WI and Duluth, MN

Shari has been with the Burger King brand for 29 years. What Shari appreciates most about working with Cave is watching our teams grow and develop into business leaders.

Lysa Hoig

Director of Operations for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Green Bay and Appleton, WI

Lysa began with Burger King as a late-night team member in 2006.  Lysa’s career has been nurtured by the positive culture and encouragement for internal growth in Cave and feels very fortunate for the wonderful team of people she works with on a daily basis.

Al Jones

Director of Operations for Cave’s South Dakota and Minnesota restaurants

Al has been with the Burger King brand for 40 years. What Al appreciate most about working with Cave is the growth of his team and striving to be the best with customer service.

Sue Boehler

Director of Operations for Milwaukee, Kenosha and surrounding areas of Wisconsin

Sue has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years and started at the age of 14.  She has worked in multiple concepts and has worked both on the corporate side of the business.  Sue’s passion is to mentor employees so they can be successful in their positions and know the importance of taking care of the guests and the business overall.  Sue has been with Cave since 2018.

Josh Karl

Director of Operations for Central Wisconsin

Josh has been with Burger King and Cave for over 5 years, with more than 27 years of overall restaurant experience.  Josh served in the US Air Force (1989-95) and loves working within the community assisting other veterans.

His career passion has been to help others reach their full capabilities and realize their true potential both personally and professionally.  While working for Cave he has most appreciated the company growth, culture evolution, and opportunities for himself and many others that have worked in his region. 

Laurie Roscoe

Director of Operations for far Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin

Laurie has been with Burger for 38 years. Laurie enjoys seeing people grow through education and motivation to become strong leaders of their people and their businesses.  Laurie appreciates Cave’s “multiple heads are better than one” strategy and teamwork to continue to grow Cave.
